Transcend was founded in 1997 by Wilma Slenders, Ph.D., in response to the absence of small, niche consulting firms in the marketplace delivering enterprise-wide change consulting services. We've grown and evolved from that singular focus to offering broader services and solutions aimed at optimizing the performance and results of your organization. Owner's Statement - Wilma J. Slenders, Ph.D.
Throughout my career, I've been privileged to work with leaders at all levels of small, medium, and large size organizations. A key learning, we all deal with similar challenges on a daily basis and all want the same things; to be healthy, have abundance, have good friends and family and spend time with them, achieve happiness, and have the freedom to do what we want to do.
The unique value that I bring to my clients is challenging their thinking about the perceptions, beliefs, values and assumptions they hold. Making these conscious provides the opportunity to make intentional choices and take action. I offer a third party perspective and am known for "telling it like it is." My commitment is to help you and your company grow, be better, be even more successful, and be prepared for the future. You can't do that when you have people telling you what you want to hear and that everything is okay, especially when it's not. Of course, when everything is okay, we won't tell you anything different!
Change is a way of life and we need to get used to it. Individuals and companies must continuously change, through evolution or revolution, in order to get ahead, or even just keep pace. Those who stagnate will perish. My associates and I are determined not to let that happen to our clients.
